Onthe 22nd of January, 2016, The Planning Place successfully obtainedapproval for a Dwelling House in an Environmental Management Zone at 693Grassdale Road, Gumdale. The site was determined as subject to the biodiversityareas overlay code and therefore careful consideration was made to have aminimal effect on the ecologically significant vegetation on the site. Thefinal design outcome was the establishment of one residential dwelling with asmaller building footprint envelop than previously proposed. In conjunctionwith the development assessment, an overland flow and flood assessment report wassought to demonstrate the works would not adversely impact on flooding ofproperties surrounding the site.
