CHANGE TO APPROVALS

Often a site has a pre-existing approval but does not stack up. The Planning Place can assist you with the redesign and communication with Council to change the approval. Under the Sustainable Planning Act a wider range of change of development approval can be made provided it is not a major change which would require a new application.

Change to Approval – Chelsea Road, Ransome


The Planning Place has recently received approval for a Change to existing Development Approval for a change to development approval for a House in an Environmental Protection Area at 169 Chelsea Rd, Ransome. This approval involved the successful lodgement to the Brisbane City Council.

Change to Approval – Guilfoyle Street, St Lucia

The Planning Place has recently received approval for the Extension of a Currency Period for an approval given for two house development at 67 Guilfoyle St, St Lucia. This approval was given due to a required extension of the approved plans due to the additional time required to allow obligations to be met and development finance received.

Change to Approval – Bardon Road, Berrinba

The Planning Place has recently received approval for a Change to existing Development Approval for a Church site in Berrinba. This approval involved the successful court negotiation on conditions associated with activity times, noise issues, and carparking. This process also involved mediation meetings with Council and production of supplementary reports by The Planning Place.

Development Approval – 94 Elliot St, Hawthorne

Brisbane Town Planning Firm, The Planning Place has recently obtained Development Approval for a change to an existing approval for the previously obtained approval at 94 Elliot St, Hawthorne. A change to an existing approval can be performed as long as the existing approval is still current (approvals are valid for up to 4 years from the date of approval) and the changes are rules as generally in accordance with the existing approval.

Development Approval – 66 – 78 Saltwater Circuit, Narangba

Town Planning Firm, The Planning Place has recently obtained approval from Moreton Bay Regional Council for a change to the existing Development Approval over the land situated at 66 – 78 Saltwater Circuit, Narangba. It was proposed to build and additional shed on the site that was not part of the original approval.
